Tuesday, August 26, New York, 2 PM.  "Patents, Trademark and Copyright Protection Workshop"   Learn about "Patent, Trademark and copyright law and how to protect your business" by an experienced lawyer. NYS Tax Issures and Assistance for Small Business" by NYS Dept of Taxation and Finance.

Wednesday, August 27, New York, 10:30 AM.  "Preparing Yourself for a Lender to Say "Yes".  This workshop will tell you exactly what lenders seek in a business loan candidate. It will help you prepare and help you determine if you should be seeking alternative forms of financing. 

Wednesday, August 27, Queens, 10 AM. "Selling to the Government & 8(a), HUBZone and WOSB Certification Workshop" This workshop is geared toward assisting socially and economically disadvantaged businesses, as well as small businesses located in historically underutilized business zones and women owned small businesses.

Wednesday, August 27, Kew Gardens, 2 PM.  "Veterans Business Forum: Starting a Business- Why, When, Where, What and How"  This class will help you evaluate the elements involved in validating a business idea, and determining what are the right steps in the right order. Non-veterans are welcome to attend as well.

Wednesday, August 27, Brooklyn, 4:30 PM.  "How to Do Business with the NYC Department of Education"  BOC WBC, NYC DOE, and Brooklyn Public Library will present information to business interested in doing business with the DOE in support of schools, students and the administration across all purchasing categories should attend this workshop.

Thursday, August 28, New York, 9:30 AM.
