Monday, August 18, Bronx, 2 PM. "How to Start a Business and How SBA Can Help "  Come to network and learn about how to start a business which includes: personal assessment; choosing your business structure; how to register a new business and more.

Tuesday, August 19, New York, 2:30 PM.  "Understanding Business Contracts"  A Lender Relations Specialist from SBA New York District Office will provide a workshop on business contracts and what to look for.

Tuesday, August, 19, Bronx, 2 PM.  "SBA Financing Programs and Lending Change" Come to network and learn about SBA Financing programs and the changes of SBA small loans for businesses. Speakers from SBA and South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corp.

Wednesday, August 20, Bronx, 9:30 AM.  "Certified for Procurement Opportunities and Marketing to the Government "  Come to network and learn about how to do business with the Government including: federal government procurement methods; register your business on www.SAM.gov; what products/services the Government buys; what the government buyers look for; certification for set asides; subcontracting; marketing to the Government and other resources .   

Wednesday, August 20, New York, 9:30 AM. "Selling to the Government & 8(a), HUBZone and WOSB Certification Workshop" This workshop is geared toward assisting socially and economically disadvantaged businesses, as well as small businesses located in historically underutilized business zones and women owned small businesses.

Thursday, August 21, New York, 10:30 AM.  "Marketing Strategy Elements Workshop"  This workshop will take you through the various low cost steps and stages of developing your marketing methodology and strategy.
